Top Notch Physical Therapist and Fitness Trainer

Dr. Christina Schofield, PT DPT CSCS NKT3, earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from NAU in 2011, an Exercise Science BS from UNM in 2007, and a Certified Sports and Conditioning Specialist Certification from National Strength and Conditioning Association in 2010 (NCSA CSCS). She has practiced Neurokinetic Therapy since 2017, taught as a TA since 2018, and holds the highest certification since 2018.
T-REX PT provides a highly customized patient experience that is unlike any other physical therapy. All visits are one-on-one with the physical therapist, mostly hands-on, and personalized to your body’s needs. Appointments treat recreational, collegiate, and professional athletes with NATURAL pain management for acute and chronic conditions in patients as young as six.
Dr. Christina also analyzes food intolerances and emotional influences based on input from her patients. By staying fully engaged in their care, patients get better faster and back to what truly makes them happy. Established in 2017, T-REX Physical Therapy thrives on its ability to help active adults achieve higher performance, and relieve pain faster than “traditional physical therapy.” Patients with pain, weakness, and tightness learn how to recover quickly, and how to manage their symptoms. Appointments primarily emphasize neuromuscular hands-on techniques for difficult pain and weakness scenarios.
Loving to stay active herself, she does not want to be told NOT to do the very things she enjoys. She utilizes complementing techniques that restored her from several of her own tough injuries/surgeries, rapidly returning to high-level activity! When not restoring patients, Dr. Christina enjoys lifting weights, being active with her daughter and husband, walking barefoot outside, and all things circus arts–especially handstands and trapeze.

I was struggling with neck pain and tried the chiropractic route but it was more aggravated after. I met with Christina, shared what my problem was and she walked me through both her treatment plan and stretching exercises I could use. After her treatment I fully recovered and no longer suffer from neck pain. She is exceptionally knowledgeable, comprehensive and effective. I highly recommend her for your therapy needs.

If you’re ever wondering what you’ve pulled, tweaked, torn or broken Christina Schofield is the answer. I first met Christina back in 2013 when I had labrum and rotator cuff surgery that required some intense physical therapy. Christina was there every step of the way and actually got me back to speed faster than I had expected. She’s good about testing you but also knowing how much you can realistically take without injuring yourself again. Anyone going through a set back that requires PT knows it takes mental strength. Christina was very supportive and always made sure my spirits were in the right direction. Hopefully I’ll never see her again under those circumstances however, if I need a PT again I’ll be on the lookout for Christina!

When it comes to physical therapy Christina is the therapist you want to see. I’ve had shoulder and hip problems causing daily pain. She has been able to help me with getting my pain in both areas down and non existent. She has given me home exercises to do daily to help make sure I keep those areas strong without having pain. I’ve been more than satisfied with her treatment and highly recommend her!!

I’ve been working with Christina for the better part of 2 years and probably will forever. I honestly don’t know where to start.
Christina is probably the smartest person I know when it comes to the body and how it moves/ functions. Her mind is amazing and so are her manual techniques that she applies to my bound up muscle fibers. What I appreciate most about her is her continued willingness to learn, adapt, and try new methodologies instead of just sticking to one narrow minded path. People associate Physical Therapy as a reaction to an injury but what Christina does is much more than that. She teaches you how to move better, how to activate previously dormant muscles, how alleviate muscular restrictions, and most importantly teaches you how important/ amazing your body is. I owe a lot of my success with pain management and performance progressions to Christina’s work. My only advice is do the homework she lays out for you. It’s pivotal to your success!
